Hard work pays off for Hannah and Chelsea
On the 7th November Chelsea Walls, Year 6 Teacher & Wider Curriculum Lead at Great Yarmouth Primary Academy and Hannah Holgate, Vice Principal for inclusion at Cobholm Primary Academy attended the SENco awards ceremony, held at Hethel Engineering centre.
Chelsea and Hannah completed the Eastern Partnership National Award for SEN (Special Educational Needs) Coordination this year and were delighted to receive their award, presented by Angela Scott, Regional lead for SEND for the Eastern Partnership.
This was a year long course, and incorporated in-depth study of SEND at Master's level. Both Chelsea and Hannah studied extremely hard and wrote two Master's level assignments to gain this award.
It is accredited through the University of Hertfordshire and gains them both 60 credits towards a Master's degree.
They are now fully qualified SENDCos and thrilled to continue in their roles going forwards.
Well done Hannah and Chelsea, we wish you great luck for the future.
