Published on 24/08/18

Students at Hethersett have once again achieved the best results in the county at GCSE.

Results day saw an increase in the headline figure for Grade 4+ English and Maths, with 81% of students qualifying.

At the tougher Grade 5+ measure, 57% of the academy's students qualified - the highest rate in Norfolk according to provisional figures.

Principal Gareth Stevens said: "Last year's results were record breaking, and I am delighted to say that this year the results have improved even further, with 81% getting 4+ at English and Maths, and strong underlying progress scores.

"Our students and staff have worked consistently hard for many years and really deserve these brilliant results."
