Bake-off raises £600 for mental health awareness

Published on 03/10/18

Students at Cromer Academy raised hundreds of pounds for mental health awareness with a cake sale and non-uniform day.

Organised by the school's mental health ambassadors, the event on September 21 raised an impressive £600.

Half the money will be donated to the charity Young Minds, which supports children and young people's mental health.

The remainder will help support the work of Cromer Academy's mental health ambassadors, raising awareness of mental health issues within the school.

Many thanks to students, parents, and staff who donated cakes and money to this very good cause.
